Inline Filter

Design Challenge:
To develop a self-contained in-line reagent filter with luer end connectors for connection to small-bore tubing in the filtering of laboratory reagents, gas, air, fuel and a variety of other liquids.

Solution:
POREX INLINE™ Reagent Filters manufactured with a tortuous path filter element contained in a solid polyethylene housing were found to trap particles as small as 10 micrometers with high capture efficiency.

Result:
Available in 10, 25 and 125 micron sizes, with UHMW-PE, HDPE and UHMW-PE + Carbon filtration mediums, POREX INLINE Reagent Filters are the economical answer to filtering reagents used in sophisticated laboratory analysis equipment.
