Used in neonatal sample preparation procedures, POREX® Porous Glass Fiber Membranes help retain fibers from dried blood spots, which can interfere in screening of functional and neonatal genetic disorders and screening assays such as BIOT, GALT, and TGAL.
Address a wide variety of diagnostic and point-of-care applications with POREX® SQ-EASYTM Prefilters. SQ-EASY Prefilters address the need for a self-contained filtration, vortexing, and dispensing system for throat swab cultures, stool specimens and nasopharyngeal swabs, washes and aspirates. They feature an interlocking dispensing tube, filter tip, and closure cap, which help ensure sample integrity and leakage. Components include porous glass fiber membrane, high density polyethylene (HDPE), and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) filtration materials.
