POREX^® Breathable Seals are solutions that deliver advantages of a breathable component seal over a solid seal. Breathable seals are designed to minimize internal pressure and moisture or condensation, and to eliminate the need for a physical vent which can introduce entry points for foreign materials. Customized breathable seal solutions can be developed in materials from microporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to breathable elastomeric materials where a standard product is not suitable.
