Surgical and chronic care devices require porous components to do specific jobs under real conditions: close a suction line the moment fluid arrives, hold a sterile barrier through repeated autoclave cycles, or let gas out of a pouch without letting water in, whichever way the device is oriented. Porex develops & manufactures these solutions in a custom component, designed into devices which have been cleared or approved under FDA, EU MDR and APAC pathways, and manufactured with batch-to-batch consistency at tens of millions of units per year.
