Infusion Therapy

Innovative Technologies for Safe and Efficient Infusion Therapy

Ensuring Safe and Precise Infusion Therapy Delivery

Infusion therapy devices play a critical role in accurately delivering fluids and medications to patients. To ensure safe and precise administration, these devices incorporate various safety features, including filters and vents. Infusion filters are essential in preventing the entry of particles into the human body, safeguarding against blood clots, and facilitating controlled drug distribution. The filtration and retention rate of these filters can be determined by selecting the appropriate pore size, allowing for tailored retention of small particles and efficient flow rates of the infusion solution.

Our sister company, Oxyphen, offers the highest precision in both pore size and density with track-etched membranes. With our expertise in membrane technology and commitment to safety, we provide reliable and tailored solutions for infusion therapy devices, enhancing their performance and contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Infusion Therapy Set Filters and Vents

Infusion Pump Vents

Oxyphen’s track-etched membrane solutions ensure reliable venting and sterility control for infusion pumps. With water and dust-tight protection, our membranes prevent the ingress of contaminants like oil, solvents, and low surface energy liquids, while enabling effective pressure equalization.

Infusion Filters

Infusion filters play a crucial role in preventing particles from entering the human body, safeguarding against blood clots, and ensuring precise drug distribution. The filtration/retention rate is determined by selecting the appropriate pore size. By correlating the membrane flow rate with the priming pressure of the drug delivery solution, customers can accurately determine the retention rate for small particles and the flow rate for the infusion solution.
