Safety IV Catheter Vents

Our self-sealing safety IV catheter vents are assembled into safety IV catheter devices, designed to perform multiple functions such as obtaining blood samples, introducing fluids, and administering drugs. These vents immediately shut off upon contact with fluids, preventing blood bypass in the “flashback chamber” and protecting healthcare workers from exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Arterial Syringe Vents

Arterial syringe vents are designed to prevent blood bypass in arterial syringe devices when collecting blood samples for blood gas analysis. These vents protect healthcare workers and maintain sample integrity by trapping blood in a controlled environment.
