These vents immediately shut off upon contact with fluids, preventing blood bypass in the “flashback chamber” and protecting healthcare workers from exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Arterial Syringe Vents

Arterial syringe vents are designed to prevent blood bypass in arterial syringe devices when collecting blood samples for blood gas analysis. These vents protect healthcare workers and maintain sample integrity by trapping blood in a controlled environment.
